Excellent point! Audible works fantastically and easily on many different devices. Why can't ebook stores follow their lead? I have downloaded up to 10 very long books, (many, more than 30 hours each) all at once, without any problems, and all within a few minutes. Then they are automatically added to my iTunes Library.
It's easy and pleasant to browse and shop there, and they have the whole 'regional thing' worked out nicely. If a book is not allowed for a member because of geographical restrictions, it just doesn't appear in a search. If you log out, and search as a guest, thereby
seeing said book, you will get a very polite banner saying 'This book is currently not available for your geographical location'.
