Probably not, but it is likely that a few people would.

I only used the term Cannabis to distinguish between the term "pot plant" (meaning an ornamental plant in a plant pot - most common usage in the UK) and "pot plant" (meaning a cannabis plant - not common usage in the UK)

I have heard the term "pothead used" used but far more often I have heard people say so and so " is doing drugs/pot" or is a "druggie". I have never heard anyone in the UK say that is a "pot plant" and meaning cannabis. It is far more likely they would say that plant is "pot"

What I can say is that most the places that sell ornamental plants in pots will label the section they are in as pot plants. Sometimes the term "indoor plants" or "container plants" is used.

At least this difference in usage between English and US English seems to be amusing people.

If you really have worries have a word with other Mods and Members from the UK they will confirm my usage of "pot plant" is common and correct.
