I do not know what causes your error, but I think it's not:
- calibre (seems to work for me)
- cops
- php7.4 (tested and worked, php 8 gives an error)
Did you install/enable all of the needed PHP mods?
php7.4 php7.4-xml php7.4-mbstring php7.4-zip php7.4-gd php7.4-sqlite3 php7.4-json php7.4-intl
Did you restart the Synology (when nothing helps, restart)?
