Lois McMaster Bujold publishes with Baen.com, and like a lot of authors there, often has Advance Reader Copies (EArc's) for sale early (Months before print releases). These may have typo's etc. Another advantage in buying there is the large type of print formats. I often read books online, and use a large flatscreen TV as a monitor. The ability to enlarge words, change font etc is so helpful, as well as being able to change the background color.
