Me, I buy my BAEN ebooks direct so the money goes to Baen and the authors and nobody else. They treat me fair, I treat them fair.
I'm no fan of DRM but it doesn't rile me up as much as app-locked content.
Some walled gardens are tolerable (barely) because the distributor can reasonably be expected to outlast me. 
But app-locked content I won't look at twice. None of those ebook operations have endured past a year or two, anyway. |
Jim died quite a while back. Baen the publisher still does DRM free.
