Already done.
I pull from the upstream KindleUnpack repository to build this plugin (and the calibre KindleUnpack plugin), so everything will soon be same/same/same. We haven't made a new release for the upstream KindleUnpack yet, but anyone can download the source from the repository to run the standalone Python tool with the vary latest updates.
