Agreed. It's a last resort. You won't want to do it. The Onyx can do a lot of things in theory, but you won't want to do much other than read. You might try several reading apps, set up dictionaries, and work flows, etc. But once it's done, you will just read, IMO.
The other option is the Remarkable. I don't know if that has a browser, etc. Why do you specifically want 10"+? Do you want to read pdf?
Edit: Okay, it's for Manga. You would probably be okay with the biggest Kobo if you install Koreader and read in landscape. I read comics like that on a 7.8" no problem. But admittedly a 10" is better.
