Just to add a touch off lightness

My happiest bookshop memory is of one in Barrow-in Furness, UK, when I visited from Australia aeons ago. Two very old ladies ran it; second hand books were stacked on top of each other in vast piles, and a very fat cat slept on the top of the pile I was studying. I managed to get the book I wanted out of the pile eventually.

Never seen another like that shop. The old ladies, if extant, would probably be well over 100 by now, if not more, so I guess that little shop has closed... And the cat is sleeping on a tall stack of second-hand halos.

Seasons' best wishes.
