I would think adapting to something means you had something prior that you were used to and then had to adapt to a new item. I never had any other reader (aside from a PDA), so I don't think adapt is the right word. It is just all I know. I'm sure if I had a Sony or another reader instead, I would like it just as much. I'm not one to form prejudices over devices. As long as it does the job I want it to do, I'm fine.
