I guess the experience would be like an Onyx Boox Nova. Still, if I am only paying half of Nova3 I would be satisfied with the hardward provided. If I would like to buy a new e-reader I would consider this one.

I guess the OS should be similar to 6" Mi Reader (review).

Actually I owned Onyx Boox Nova and I am sort of regretted having a 7.8" e-reader. If I have a chance to get one again I would buy the Poke 3 and a Note 3/Remarkable 2. Use the Poke 3 during travel and use Note 3/Remarkable 2 at home.
Yeah, I understand wanting something bigger. I would probably have bought a Note Air, but it's very expensive and my worry is that the lower DPI would annoy me. I'm overly sensitive to that sort of thing.

However, I am considering buying a Hisense A5 Pro to have a small portable device - combined digital detox and mobile reading. (To me 6 inches is not any more portable than 10 or 13; I still need to have a backpack to consider taking an e-reader with me.)

On my Poke 2, I have a preferred .dict dictionary which I like to use (it is one I used with Koreader on my Kobo). To get it to be used by the Onyx dictionary app, I copied the .dict folder into a folder called “dicts” in the main storage. Then, within the settings section of the Onyx dictionary app, I selected the new dictionary as my default. I can’t remember if I had to reboot the Poke after putting the .dict folder into “dicts” folder in order for the dictionary app to see it.
GoldenDict supports morphology using hunspell dictionaries - is there similar functionality within the Onyx dictionary app now?
