How can I modified the sorting name so van or Van precede the name so "Joe van Name" became "van Name, Joe"?

I see in the preferences: sorting_name algorithm and per_language_title_sort_articles but that doesn't seem to work with composing name.

Or I'm I wrong to sort names this way. Any German or Dutch here to orient me?
