Unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be an option to buy the audiobook once a "read and listen" e-book is borrowed. AM I missing something? I should think Amazon/Audible would be happy to take my money, but ... ?

From what I’ve read, you’re not missing anything. That’s the way it works.
