Is there a way to disable the animation?
A lot of common animation blinds me and triggers my migraines.

When I start Calibre Companion, there are animated arrows near the top. I have to cover them with one hand while trying to operate Calibre Companion. But then menus can go unresponsive, or sometimes the whole screen can flash and move about...

I have trouble even quitting Calibre Companion because Background Management can go unresponsive.

Is there a way to disable to animation in Calibre Companion, or an accessible alternative to Calibre Companion?
