But why bother? It would create an extra step--move the file from the device to the PC to convert.

On the other hand, there are programs on my Windows 7 computer that might not run on Windows 10. Right now, everything works adequately, I'm happy, and I'll just wait till the PC needs replacing with whatever the newest OS is.
