Done with Mirror Dance by Lois McMaster Bujold and narrated by Gardner Grover. Excellent, but be aware that there are some scenes of torture.
Have now moved on to the Black Elfstone, by Terry Brooks and narrated by Simon Vance. It's the first of the Fall of Shannara quadrilogy (or tetralogy or quartet - do we have a preference here on Mobileread??).
