NOTHING in calibre, the Kobo related drivers or plugins know anything about the BookReader.sqlite. The do not have any code that goes near it. They do not open it. The do not even know it exists. If this file is being corrupted, it is NOT being done by calibre.

If the BookReader.sqlite is being corrupted, it is by something else.
