This does sound a wee bit protracted to be food poisoning. Isn't that usually gone when the tummy empties itself entirely? (or maybe I've never had a bad case...)
Hope improvement comes more quickly.

My one bout with "regulation" Salmonella food poisoning was a day in hell followed by feeling pretty OK by the next day. That is also what my neighbor had ... I just talked to her husband and she was fine by day two.
So, this does sound like something viral .... or bacterial maybe, but probably not Salmonella. And, I'm not sure that any bout of Salmonella poisoning isn't a "bad case." They are pretty much all hell on wheels. Shigella isn't any walk in the park either. Trust me.

Yeah, I'll do that. It should be fun to see how quickly they kick me out of the office. "Unclean!! Unclean!!"
I wonder if they'll make me wear a bell??

Ricky - hope you can eat again soon - and no taking showers if you feel dizzy - bad idea!

I was smelling positively ripe. I was at a point where being this close to me was making me feel even worse. At least the shower has a nice seat in it, so I don't have to stand the whole time I wash.

I wish I had some. The green tea is staying down, so right now, I'm sticking with that. Having the AC turned down is helping a lot. I do better when my head is cold, but my body is warm. So, I've got a layer of quilts and cats on top of me with my head all nice and chilled.
I walked along with the dog walker this evening. I wanted to see if I could make the whole walk ... and I did, but I was pretty close to passing out by the time we made it home.
The thing was, one of my neighbors brought me a really sweet stray dog last night, and so animal control came by this afternoon to see if it had a chip (with the understanding that they were NOT authorized to take it to the local shelter, but to leave it where it was), which it didn't ... but then I was either going to have to try to walk three dogs by myself, or to walk the stray while the dog walker walked my two girls. And, that's what we did ... and what I suppose we'll do tomorrow as well.
I do hope we can find a good home for him soon. He's a beautiful and sweet Golden Retriever / Chow mix (we think) and very friendly. Clearly dumped out here ... he was in pretty bad shape, and very hungry, when my neighbor brought him to me.
