The Others series is one of my go-to series whenever I'm in a reading slump or when I simply want something good to read. It doesn't matter that I've read the books multiple times; I just love that world so much. The series is probably more urban fantasy than paranormal romance, but I don't really mind that the romance is minimal in the books.

For the spin-offs, I love Wild Country a lot more than Lake Silence, probably because it's more related to the Lakeside Courtyard, and is somewhat parallel to the timeline in Etched in Bone. I wonder if Anne Bishop will explore further the town of Bennett, because I'd really love to read more stories about the various characters there.
