I keep my books in folders named for the author, last name first. Those folders are in a folder called books.
In the past couple of years I've also been keeping my books in a folder called books on Dropbox. I do most of my reading on my phone and this makes them handy. I haven't moved all my books to Dropbox. Just the ones I've bought since I started doing that and the ones I've felt I might read in the near future.
