So, I've just dug out my old Kindle Keyboard 3g+wifi uk edition.
It's still on 3.0.3 firmware.
I'd jailbroken it and installed USBNetwork.. and I don't think much else.. maybe a screensaver hack? maybe something to stop it auto updating? (I had a ENABLE_HACK_UPDATES file on the device).
I installed the hacks some time in 2011.
I tried installing the 3.1 firmware update, but the checksum for ServerConfig.conf fails.
Code:
201120:175737 ota_install: C def:patch:patchinfo="/opt/amazon/ebook/config/ServerConfig.conf":checksum failure
201120:175737 ota_install: I def:patch:current_md5=74add3f039bbd1e69bf2f0d551d44a58,expected_md5=4a5bb76ada7d1eda31080d6895ebd795,patch_md5=274a7f20e7b3192b6583a897e263905a:checksum verify
Any tips on getting the devices updated? Does anyone have a backup of the file matching that checksum? NiLuJe?
I tried running the uninstaller for the latest USBnetwork hack but that didn't help. Do I need to get hold of an old version of the hack and run its uninstaller?
Cheers!

Would Kubrick sort me out?
