The seller did respond stating they bought the licenses in bulk from distributors and publishers so they're legally able to sell the books. Still, I had to wonder since these publishers are notorious for releasing their titles with DRM. DRM free PDF, Lit, and txt without a licensing server and the technological overhead isn't likely to be legal...
I really like the concept the seller presents - Legal eBooks sold for a low price in a competitive market where sellers are free to try to under-price each other. As long as they're legal and authors are getting paid
