I get the impression that Peace Talks/Battle Ground was intended to be one book. Assuming it doesn't expand more, that implies 3 or 4 more books in the series. To a certain extent, he's running into the Superman syndrome, i.e. as Dresden becomes much more powerful, he requires much more powerful enemies.

IMPO, the series feels like it's approaching a wrap up. Most of the on going story lines seem to be wrapped up - Murphy for example. We still have the outsiders as the main issue. With a few other issues that I think get wrapped before the outsiders - i.e. the Winter Court, the White Council, his brother, his daughter and the 3rd knight.
