I do not know How Much work is involved setting pages up but a simple categorization should work. But I am speaking from a position of sublime ignorance.
Something like
A pop level page page would list areas of Calibre for which tips exist (e.g. Editor, plugboard etc)
Each area could link to subpage which either lists the tips for that area or takes you to the only tip for that area. Each item in the list of tips could link to a specific tip.
But any suggestions from someone with more knowledge of Wikis than me (not hard) would be welcome.
Otherwise you may be right and it may be better to delay the wiki until we have a few tips. We could use this thread to start collecting them as you suggested. Or we could start "Post your Calibre Tips & Tricks here" thread.
