I have a jailbroken KT4 running firmware 5.13.2

Recently it started refusing to index any added or removed books (either through Calibre or direct drag and drop over USB). If I add a book, it doesn't show up, and if I remove one, it keeps being displayed (even deleting the book using the menu on the Kindle itself does not remove it).

My first instinct is to do a factory reset, but I'm afraid this will destroy the jailbreak. Am I correct in my assumption?

If so, is there any way to reset the index without destroying the jailbreak?
