Got it with free book. Showed up when selecting a book about 1/2 hour later. I also had some credit left from an Amazon purchase (sometimes they give you $2-3 credit if you take a slow ship option). So, I bought the Knights Templar Collection 2 for free since it was still on sale and used the rest on a Chronicles of St Mary's short I didn't have.

Bought a free book on my brother's account. Will see if he gets the same deal as we have linked households.

edited to add: Did not work on my brother's account which is an attached household account.
