Grr. After buying that Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant, this popped up:

Lenovo Smart Tab M8 Android tablet w/Google Assistant for $59

For me, in the bedroom that would be better because my eyes are old and dodgy and it has a bigger screen so I could better see it when I'm on the other side of the room. And apparently it's a full blown tablet so you could pull it out of its stand and do tablet things while you're lying in bed.
