Yes, it did when I read this post.

And for the record, I was making a joke with @geek1011. A joke I considered making to you, but, it obviously would have fallen very flat.

Why lie? Just say "Before I answer you I want to know why you want to do this." Sure, it feels stupid to say such a sentence, but at least it's a sincere attitude.

Say it clearly: "I want to see the invoice of the shop where you bought the device."
Where the hell did you get that from? I don't care how you got the device. There was nothing about you question that suggested you had stolen it. And my response was that I think it is a waste of time trying to avoid turning the WiFi on to do things such as updating the firmware or the dictionaries.

Now, please, answer another question. On which website, other than this, can I find normal assistance for the use of a device without being forced to deal with people who have lost touch with reality?

ps1: Kobo distributes the "desktop application" for windows and mac only, while I only use linux pc, and for mysterious reasons, that certainly hide a criminal attitude, I don't want to use wine.
Thank you for telling some information that I can now use to answer you questions better. But, I was making a suggestion. The correct response to that is something like, "I don't use Windows or a MAC and don't want to use Wine, so that isn't really an option." Insulting someone who is actually trying to answer your question is very rude.

ps2: You're an idiot.
I should be an adult, but, I think a lot of people here already know I have a failing, so:

Takes one to know one.
