Check this article for Palm (you know, before iphone there was those PDAs)... the same applies for finding a suitable battery replacement, and some links to battery stores on Aliexpress. You might need to cut off and solder together the leads if your onyx boox uses a specific battery header.

You can measure the sizes, or probably the numbers will be printed on the battery after you open up your onyx boox.

Hope that helps you. Buying spare batteries when getting a new device is a bad idea. They have a shelf life too. Might be dead before you get to use the spare.
