What's wrong with using it indoors? I turn the front light on and it looks pretty good to me. There seem to be a few people who view the front light as cheating somehow, that the screen needs to be perfect using ambient light only, but I disagree with that. The front light is there for a purpose, to make the screen look good. Why not use it?
I agree that anyone that expects the equivalent of an LCD screen will be very disappointed in this technology, but it works fine for me viewing comics. It's certainly better than the comic books I grew up reading many decades ago.
