USB-OTG is also not intended for permanent use - the devices connected to it can be removed very easily.

OB devices also have other weaknesses - they cannot use ExFAT or NTFS.
The fact that they do not have an SD card slot should not necessarily be called a fault.
SD cards are technical garbage because they can only be written to to a very limited extent, then they are defective.
