Wow. This is just the kind of thing that has always made me weary of buying ebooks. I buy a lot of them from amazon. But if this happens with BAM there is nothing that says it can’t happen at amazon as well.
Out of paranoia I always immediately download a purchased amazon ebook, remove the drm and store it safely away just because of crap like this.
