EDIT: Okay, read your link. I have no idea what this is on about (because it's from 2011!), but MKK is up to date, you don't need to do anything else, anything you try is likely going to make things worse.

Does the Kindle 3 have a built in date? It doesn't seem to have a date anywhere on the device. And the time is okay, within an hour of real time since the device crashes every so often while reading.
Updating the developer keys after the MKK did something. Beforehand, Coolreader launched and gave me the message "kindle waiting for command" and KUAL gave me a much longer message saying that the application had not shut down correctly, and then restarted the kindle.
Do you by any chance know why KindleNote would work on my kindle, whereas KUAL and Coolreader don't?
