Normally I am reading 2 or 3 books at a time, and I am a sucker for a good series so I may have the whole series of books listed out and ready to read. I never have more than a few hundred megs of my reader’s memory used. It just doesn’t make sense to me to have such a cluttered up ebook reader. Sure I have about 4000 books in calibre, and most of them I have either read or are in my list to read. I also when ever possible read from kindle unlimited.
I keep thousands of books on my ereaders because I have no idea what I'm going to read next. My wishes can change every day. So I want to have as large a selection instantly available as possible. Moreover, I don't do direct downloads and it would be a major bother to constantly connect a reader to a laptop.
