It appears that PoohBear is a bird in a disguise to prevent him from being eaten. Unfortunately, with Thanksgiving coming up in the United States it is poorly chosen disguise. It is possible that in some home somewhere the little children are disappointed when the expect to eat turkey and end up being served chicken instead.
