Mit "
Der Talisman" (1825) liegt nun auch die zweite der "Erzählungen der Kreuzfahrer" innerhalb des
Waverly-Zyklus von
Walter Scott in einer gediegenen Übersetzung vor, nämlich von Wilhelm Sauerwein (zuerst 1841 erschienen), hier in der Fassung der Werkausgabe der Stuttgarter Hoffmann'schen Verlags-Buchhandlung von 1851 (insg. 475 Seiten).
Das
Cover beruht einmal wieder auf dem Frontispiz der Vorlage.
