The Manitou by Graham Masterton is only $0.99 at Amazon US. Probably Masterton's best known novel (yet one I haven't read yet).
It was turned into a hilariously hokey movie starring Tony Curtis back in the '70's. It's the only movie I've seen that ends with a Native American dwarf and a topless woman shooting magic at each other in outer space.
But the core story is good. I really should read the book.
