I also uninstalled the update to Calibre (to 5.3) and reinstalled my previous version of 4.23 and the KU book which wouldn't open, does indeed now open. You do not own that book on Ruth Bader Ginsberg. You are only borrowing it. It's the same as borrowing from Overdrive. You don't own those either. So discussing removing the DRM from Kindle Unlimited eBooks won't happen here or at the Apprentice Alf blog.
