Sorry but my virusscanner did not cause the problem:
1) I did again a test with 26 books both with and without the virusscanner running. Both tests gave the same problem.
2) The problem started with version 5 of calibre. Version 4 never gave me this problem.
3) No hardware changes for more than a year.
4) windows 10 default virusscanner (defender).
Any more suggestions?
