Strangely enough that message probably means the dictionaries are working. It means that the dictionary you are using does not contain the word you looking for. You can check this by opening the dictionary search (tap the arrows on the bottom right when the above message is displayed) and entering the word. If it is found, with the same spelling as in the text, there is a problem. But, it is much more likely that the word is not there.

The only fix is to use a different dictionary. And that probably means you will need to add a custom dictionary with more words in it.
