I'm a long time Calibre user who never own any physical ebook readers until now

.
Just got my Libra H2O from Prime Day, so far quite happy with it.
Played around and loaded couple of books from my laptop via USB, that's OK.
Then discovered this simple and easy way, love it! So I said to myself I have to share it...

.
What do you need
Nothing! Of cause you have got a running Calibre somewhere on your home network already, WiFi accessible, and the Content Server service is running, and you knew its IP address and port.
How to connect
On your Libra which is WiFi connected to the same network as Calibre.
- Touch More at the right-bottom of the screen
- Touch Beta Features
- Find WEB BROWSER and touch Start
You will get the initial google page... ignore it but type in the IP address and port of the Calibre Content Server, something looks like this
Code:
http://192.168.0.1:8081
- If the URL is correct, the library page is trying to load...but stuck since Libra's browser doesn't support JavaScript...no panic
Calibre knows that... and tells you to try non_JavaScript version
- Touch here... whala, all your books are there
- Touch the book's type label to download the book to Libra
That's it!
Note:
- The URL in the screenshot is just my settings, replace it with your own
- This method is super convenient with Calibre runs with container on a headless server since there is no easy way to hook Libra up with the computer physically
