Since it worked for me, be sure to check in the app on your phone/tablet (if you have one) and see if the banner for earning $5 for watching a video shows up there. I didn't get the email about receiving the credit for about 48 hours after I watched the video. It's also not limited to Prime Day, as I could have used it earlier today when ordering a power strip for dad.

Thanks for mentioning that you got the Prime Video credit--I decided to watch a program (using Roku), and I just got an e-mail telling me I got the credit.
Why? Who knows? Maybe they got complaints about limiting it to first-time users without specifying that. I don't care, I'm just happy I got the credit. This and the small business credit give me $15.
