There's good handful of Astrid Lindgren books at my parents' that's "mine", but I think the oldest I have standing on my own bookshelf is the Narnia books. Timewise, I think they compete with a number of aquarium books I "liberated" from my father's bookshelf, and as far as emotional attachment goes the aquarium books win. From age 8-9 and onward, most of what I read came from the library, especially fiction.
