Tag Browser glyphs

I am finding the glyphs at the left of categories in the Tag browser increasingly hard to click due to their very small size and their position hard up against the window edge, viz

I don't want to increase my font size because that would result in fewer book list lines, or revert to some clunky window style from last century. For the rest of calibre I mainly use the keyboard and context menus, so mouse precision is irrelevant.

If the tree could be navigated with the keyboard it wouldn't be a problem. If that's means giving it initial focus with a mouse click - as I do with the Book Editor's File Browser pane - that would be fine by me.
