Wait...what Oasis is the same thickness all the way across?? I had the first one, and have both the Oasis 2 and 3 right now, and they *both* have a thick part where the buttons are, and the rest of it is very thin. It's meant to be held on the thick side, and if you switch hands, you flip the reader upside down, with the screen orientation changing automatically. Are you sure you have an Oasis 2? If you do, maybe the cover that it's in is evening out the back so that it's the same thickness all the way across.
