I disagree with two of these points.
1) KDP publishers have a two
eBook Royalty Options. Either a flat 35% royalty or a 70% royalty minus $0.15/MB delivery cost. The delivery cost is calculated based on the book size as determined when the book is published. It is not the actual number of bytes delivered to customers which will vary based on format, connectivity, number of devices, etc. (I agree with you on the KFX DRM issue.)
3) Transfer via USB prevents syncing between devices which is an important feature for many of us. I am not worried about the security or energy consumption of my personal documents.
