Currently reading Pietr the Latvian by Georges Simenon. This is the first of his long running (75 books, for goodness sakes!) Inspector Maigret series. I tried to read Maigret 30-40 years ago, but it didn't click for me. But I'm half way into Pietr, and I'm quite enjoying it.
