I am planning to look for a Kindle 2011 or 2012 this week.
Have noted from the other board how to download books to it once I have it.
But want to figure out how to get the kindle started.
Read that you have to download the correct old software from Amazon to my pc.
Then drag it to the kindle to install.
Once its working ok then I try sending books to it.
Will the books I have already in Amazon go to it too?
So then I copy books back to pc to add to calibre?
Last of all do I uninstall K4 PC then, as hopefully wont need it?
