Thanks for looking at it. That was my only thought - same file, but don't know how to check or what to do about it.

I don't use any other devices - calibre is where I do all my reading. Even if it is just a problem with calibre's rendering, its far too onerous to extract them all to a separate endnotes file, so I'm hoping that some sort of tweak within calibre would fix it.
