Re: Casino Royale, I meant to warn everyone that apparently there is a scene early in the book where Bond is tortured. It’s important to the book as background to Bond’s feelings and attitudes.
My understanding from reviews is that there is only one scene, so skippable. Otherwise, I wouldn’t nominate it. But if anyone has read the book and doesn’t think that’s an option, please let us know.
