The info you gave is a bit generic.
You said "The latest nightly starts rotated 90° to the left", but that's depend on a lot of factors. If you start KO opening a book on your PB library it will open it in the last rotation mode you setup.
If you start KO without opening a file it will start on the FM (unless you changed the behaviour). Is that rotated?. Could you check your FM preferences?
The second part of the sentence is: "the touch zones seem to stay at 0°". What are "touch zones"? Do you mean DTAP zones on your persistent.defaults.lua? Do the rest of taps work? (ie: you're able to open the menu touching the screen)
